Sweet Orange Oil

Derived from the peels of the Citrus Sinensis fruit, Sweet Orange Essential Oil is obtained by way of cold pressing. Citrus Sinensis originated from Southern China and is a hybrid of Mandarin and Pomelo. Sweet Orange essential oil is most commonly derived from the peel of the renowned Valencia orange, a Spanish variety, which exemplifies the sweet orange oil typically found in the market today.
The oil boasts a naturally invigorating, fruity, and tangy aroma that rejuvenates the mind and releases tension. Its rich antioxidant content makes it a valuable ingredient in skin-care products, improving both skin tone and appearance. With its delightful fruity fragrance and antibacterial properties, it is highly suitable for inclusion in hand-washes and soaps. Moreover, it serves as a natural insect repellent and can be utilised in the production of disinfectants and household cleaners. Its antioxidant properties also make it an excellent anti-aging agent. Additionally, it effectively clears chest congestion and can be diffused or added to steaming oils for respiratory benefits. Furthermore it holds potential as an aphrodisiac and finds utility in massage therapy.
