The captivating aroma of Cinnamon leaf oil arises through the meticulous process of careful steam distillation, utilising the leaves and twigs of the cinnamon plant. These botanical components yield approximately 1.6% to 1.8% of the precious oil. The oil is of dark yellow to brownish yellow colour. It has a warm, spicy aroma. The oil obtained from the leaves possesses a more delicate nature, adding to its unique allure. Sri Lanka stands as the native home of Cinnamon, where its rich heritage originates. Today, this beloved spice is cultivated in various tropical regions, including Java, Burma, Borneo, and throughout South America. With its versatile adaptability, the cinnamon plant can thrive on diverse soils and under different tropical conditions. In Sri Lanka, cinnamon plantations flourish across specific areas in the dry zone, intermediate zone, and wet zone, adapting to various soil types. The ideal temperature range for optimal cinnamon growth falls between 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. Moreover, an average rainfall of 1250mm to 2500mm is considered favourable for cultivating this cherished spice.

LABORATORY TESTING **

Standard testing is done by Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry.
About 60% of adulterated oils cannot be detected by standard testing.

Additional testing methods are Chirality Testing, Isomeric Testing, Marker Compound Testing, Component Ratio Evaluation and others.

CAUTION
This product should be avoided during pregnancy and by individuals with sensitive skin. Can cause sensitization and shuld be used in very low concentrations. All Essential Oils are highly concentrated, and if applied to skin or body, should be diluted up to a maximum dosage of 4% within a suitable carrier oil.
