Almond Oil

Derived from the kernels of the shelled fruits from the Prunus Dulcis tree, Almond essential oil offers a multitude of benefits for various applications. This remarkable tree predominantly thrives in the Mediterranean region and the southwestern United States, with California being a significant hub of cultivation. The shelled almonds yield an oil content of approximately 50-60%. Almond essential oil, obtained through pressing, possesses a distinct dark yellow hue and carries a characteristic aroma. On the other hand, refined Sweet Almond oil exhibits a light yellow, vibrant appearance and is nearly odourless. With its low viscosity, this oil flows smoothly and effortlessly. Boasting a high oleic and linoleic acid content, Almond oil is classified as a fatty oil. It is enriched with valuable components such as squalene, vitamin E, and beta-sitosterol, with the latter comprising around 85% of the total sterols present in the oil. These natural compounds contribute to the nourishing properties and potential benefits of Sweet Almond oil.
Indulge in the exquisite qualities of Almond essential oil, sourced from the bountiful Prunus Dulcis tree. Experience its enriching effects and discover why it is cherished for its high nutritional value, making it a prized ingredient in various beauty and wellness applications.
